Dr. Nicole Taylor, Licensed Psychologist

Cultivating health and wellness through life's transitions

I am a licensed psychologist practicing in the Denver-metro area and I look forward to speaking with you. I specialize in individual and couples counseling for adults over age 18.

My main specialty is working with individuals going through cancer, as well as their caregivers, family, and friends.  I have done research, training, and clinical work in the field of psychosocial oncology for over ten years.

I have experience working with a diverse group of clients with respect to gender, gender identity, race/ethnicity, country of origin, age, sexual orientation, and presenting concerns.

I believe that psychotherapy can be particularly helpful during difficult transitions in your life and I am here to help support you.  I have specialized in understanding how physical health issues impact individuals and family members and can contribute to psychological, emotional, and social problems like anxiety and depression.  Your relationships with others are important and I focus on how those relationships affect you and how the issues you may be dealing with affect others.

I have a warm, supportive, compassionate, and accepting approach. I believe that you have many answers within you but I can collaborate with you to facilitate growth.  It is my goal to create a space for you to feel safe exploring yourself and your needs so you can achieve a greater level of meaning, purpose, and wellness in your life.

If you are going through any of the following life transitions, Dr. Taylor may be the right therapist for you:

  • Nicole[1]Cancer
  • Cancer treatment/survivorship/fear of recurrence
  • Loss of a loved one
  • End-of-life issues

Thank you,

Nicole Taylor, Ph.D.
